Immutable Form. The sentinel is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Password. A creature that speaks the sentinel’s password within 30 feet of it is ignored by the sentinel for 1 hour. The password has not been changed in two hundred years.
Actions
Multiattack. The sentinel makes two Slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Rust Exhalation (Recharge 5–6). The sentinel vents rust in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, taking 18 (4d8) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Nonmagical metal armour worn by a creature that fails takes a permanent −1 penalty to the AC it offers.
Rustgate sentinels were built to hold the gates of a city that no longer exists. They still stand where the gates were, and they still ask for the password.
