What is the Elven Inn Generator?
This free elven inn generator creates an elf-run tavern or inn from one sentence: a lodge in the branches of a great tree, a wine hall that only opens under the full moon, or a waystation on a fey road. You get the sign, an elf keeper with a personality, a quirk and a secret, the staff and regulars, a menu of wines and dishes with coin prices, rooms and rumours, plus an illustration. No account is needed.

Elven Inn tips
Elven inns are about time: the keeper may have run the place for three hundred years, and the wine may be older. Lean into that. A regular who has been “visiting” for a decade, or a rumour about something the keeper saw before the city was built, gives the place depth.
Elven inns often suit the comfortable or wealthy price tiers, with elegant food and quiet rooms, but a wild-elf lodge in the deep forest can be cheap and rough. Pick the tier that fits and the menu follows.
For a Feywild crossing, set the setting to planar: the generator will price things in strange coin and give the inn rules a wise guest obeys.
Draw the room
The free map generator draws the tavern as a battlemap with a grid, for the brawl that is coming.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes an inn feel elven?
Age and grace: living wood or old stone, wine instead of ale, music, quiet, and a keeper who has seen centuries. A rule guests must keep is a good touch.
Can I make a Feywild tavern?
Yes. Set the setting to planar and describe a fey crossing; the generator gives it the strange prices and rules the Feywild is known for.
How much does an elven inn cost in 5e?
Whatever tier you pick. Most elven inns suit comfortable (about 2 gp a day) or wealthy (about 4 gp a day) lifestyles, but a wild-elf lodge can be modest or cheaper.
Is the elven inn generator free?
Yes. No account is needed, within a small daily allowance. Sign up free to keep generating and save taverns to your world.
