Harrowcolossus
Eldritch Harvest Colossus
A thunderous footstep can flatten a hedge and collapse a roof; trailing moss, tufts of grass, and a carpet of autumn leaves, the Harrowcolossus lumbers like a ruined hill given awareness. Its head is a carved, grinning lantern of orange metal with three coal-black eyes that burn a slow inner fire. Its torso is a fusion of corroded iron plates and living rootwork, pistons pumping sap and oil alike. In one hand it carries an obsidian-tipped staff that hums with machine-song; in the other its fingers flex like wrecked clockwork, eager to pluck the living from the earth. Wherever it passes crops wither to perfect, spectral gourds sprout at the margins and whispering winds carry thin, metallic laughter.

Multiattack. The Harrowcolossus makes three attacks: two Slam attacks and one Gleaning Lash, or it can replace its third attack with Pumpkin Gaze.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d10+6) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Gleaning Lash. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 25 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d8+6) slashing damage, and the Harrowcolossus siphons vitality: the target must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or have its maximum hit points reduced by an amount equal to the slashing damage. The reduction lasts until removed by greater restoration or similar magic. If this reduction reduces the target to 0 maximum hit points, it is stunned until the end of the Harrowcolossus's next turn.
Pumpkin Gaze (Recharge 5–6). The Harrowcolossus fixes its three-lensed helm on up to three creatures it can see within 90 feet. Each target must succeed on a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or be affected by one of the following (chosen by the Harrowcolossus for each target): (1) Paralyzing Fear: the target is paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. (2) Festering Warding: the target is wracked by spectral vines; on a failed save it takes 45 (10d8) necrotic damage and is restrained for 1 minute (escape DC 20). (3) Bewildering Vision: the target is stunned until the end of its next turn and sees companions as twisted scare-forms; while stunned the target takes 22 (5d8) psychic damage whenever a friendly creature moves within 10 feet of it.
Harvest Staff (Recharge 6). Ranged Spell Attack: +12 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 39 (6d12) force damage and the target is pulled up to 30 feet toward the Harrowcolossus and restrained by spectral roots until the end of the Harrowcolossus's next turn. Creatures pulled adjacent that are of Large size or larger take an additional 18 (4d8) bludgeoning damage from the staff striking the ground.
Reactive Husk. When a creature hits the Harrowcolossus with a melee attack, the Harrowcolossus can cause a burst of thorny growth to erupt from the strike site. The attacker takes 11 (2d10) piercing damage.
The creature can take 3 legendary actions per round, choosing from the options below.
Slam. The Harrowcolossus makes one Slam attack.
Seismic Stomp. The Harrowcolossus stomps the ground. Each creature within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 18 (4d8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.
Scarepulse (2 Actions). The Harrowcolossus emits a low, metallic bellow and a wave of warped harvest-light. Each creature of the Harrowcolossus's choice within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
The Harrowcolossus is a name spoken in two tongues: among farmers it is the Harvest Warden, among scholars it is a remnant of the Old Machinecult. Centuries ago, an agricultural-engineer's cabal sought to bind elemental growth to mechanical precision and constructed a handful of titanic guardians called terramachina. Most were dismantled or sunk; the largest, corrupted by time and fungal overgrowth, became the Harrowcolossus. Over the ages its gears fused with earth and root, and the jack-o'-lantern helm—originally a ritual battery—cracked and took on a grim, folkloric visage. Bards tell of it passing once every hundred years to 'take stock' of the land, leaving either bounty or blight depending on the mood of its inner engine. Scholarly accounts come from the Eridian Archives and the field journals of Dr. Maelik Vorn, who studied three related constructs: Terramachis (a soil-scarred titan with living turf), Zenith (a liquid-metal techno-sentinel that can flow through gates), and Cronyx (a scarecrow-clad automaton with alien joinery). The Harrowcolossus seems to be an accretion of all three legends: a techno-organic juggernaut that tends fields in maddening ways. It favors lonely borderlands and ruined hamlets, building cairns of burnt wire and bundled straw. Farmers either propitiate it with offerings at harvest or hide their children; cults like the Night Sowers revere it as an avatar and seek to wake more machines like it.
A towering construct (roughly three times the height of a man, dwarfing a typical stone doorway) composed of pitted iron plates riveted to living oak and briar. The back and shoulders are a woven meadow: clumps of sod, perennial grasses, mushrooms and moss cascade down the spine and tuck into joint crevices. Its limbs are mismatched: one arm is slabby, riveted metal with exposed pistons the size of tree trunks; the other is layered boards and burlap stitched over silent servos, ending in hooked, articulated fingers. The head is a carved lantern helmet—oval, cracked, and painted with a grotesque pumpkin face—set with three uneven glass lenses that glow amber, green, and violet. Vines twine around its staff like ritual ribbons; the staff is tipped with a black crystalline core that hums with veins of molten-silver metal. Texturally: the metal is corroded and pitted, wood is furrowed and bark-scarred, plant matter is damp and fibrous; seams show biomechanical grafts where sinew-like cables meet roots. Scaled detail: rivet heads the size of apples, pistons as thick as columns, and grass blades as long as a human hand.
